Newsletter-Problematik

Hallo,

ich bin hier gerade etwas am verzweifeln. Heute Habe ich einen Newsletter gebaut, welcher im unteren Teil aus aufeinanderfolgenden Bilder besteht.

Wie man sieht, werden die Bilder in Google Gmail (unabhängig vom Betriebssystem), in Hotmail und in Yahoo mit weißen Lücken angezeigt.

On allen anderen großen Mail-Clients ist hingegen alles in bester Ordnung. Kann mir vielleicht jemand den entscheidenden Tipp geben, wie ich das Problem beheben kann?

Vermutung: Du gibst einen XHTML-Doctype an, schreibst aber in HTML4. Ändere mal den Doctype entsprechend.
 
Gib mal den Tabellenzellen, die nur ein Bild enthalten, folgende style-Anaben:

<td style="height: *höhe des Bildes*; line-height: *Höhe des Bildes*; font-size: *Höhe des Bildes*">

Also *Höhe des Bildes* entsprechend den Dimensionen des Bildes in der Tabellenzelle ersetzen

btw. ist es ebenfalls gefährlich, mit colspans zu arbeiten, da kann auch einiges schief gehen. Verschachtelte Tabellen sind da sicherer.

Nachtrag: "font-size:0;line-height:0;height:0" könnte auch funktionieren
