Warum ist meine Seite nicht valide?

Könnte mir mal einer erklären, warum meine Seite http://www.politik-schweiz.com laut dem SelfHTML-Validator nicht valide ist?

Der SelfHTML Validator spuckt manchmal komisches Zeugs! (siehe Signatur)

Ja, das stimmt allerdings. Der Validator von SelfHTML will einem manchmal Fehler zustecken, die nicht existieren.

soviel zum deutschen validator, der besser sein sollte, weil er deutsch "kann"

da ist wirklich ein fehler... w3c sagt: Sorry, I am unable to validate this document because on line 268, 293 it contained one or more bytes that I cannot interpret as utf-8 (in other words, the bytes found are not valid values in the specified Character Encoding). Please check both the content of the file and the character encoding indication.

dreamweaver sollte eigentlich automatisch umwandeln, machts aber nicht immer...

Die HP ist eh überaltet, wollte nur wissen, ob grundlegende Fehler vorhanden sind.

das wichtigste ist eigentlich das charset...
dann sollte nichts kommen, wenn du explizit im quellcode ä,ö,ü uä verwendest...
